Hello everyone!
This time, I'm going to tell you about the rules of this year's game!
All FRC competition rulebooks are written in English and span more than 100 pages.
Here, I will briefly explain the rules of this year's game in Japanese.
2025 REEFSCAPE

The FRC creates rules under different themes every year (last year was music).
The theme this time is Reefscape!
The content of the competition is based on the image of the sea, and there are two types of competition tools, ALGAE, COral, and CAGE.
ルール
Two 'Alliances' will fight in a field that is about one side of the volleyball court. Since one 'Alliance' consists of 3 teams, you will have to fight 3 teams vs 3 teams.
The match time is 2 minutes and 30 seconds, of which the first 15 seconds will be automatically controlled by programming, and then manual manipulation by humans is possible. 'Alliance' who scored a lot in that 2 minutes and 30 seconds wins.
This year, there are three main ways of scoring: Algae, Coral, and Barge.
We will explain each of them below!

Algae
This green ball, which imitates 'algae', has a diameter of about 40 cm and is quite heavy, contrary to its appearance.
A total of 12 Algae are installed in front of a central branch structure called Reef and 6 other Algae in front of the DRIVE STATION (where you do the manual operation).

You can get 6 points by collecting Algae from Reef and then rolling it into two processors. Also, after that, a person called Human Player can get points by throwing Algae into the NET above the center of the field.

coral
A cylinder that imitates 'coral' weighs about 800 g and is like a vinyl chloride tube.
There is no limit on the number of ALGAE, and you can get as many as you want from a place called the Coral Station.
You can get points by placing them on the Reef (central branch structure) after you get them from the Coral Station, but the points will change depending on where you put them. You can get 2 points at the bottom and 5 points at the top.

cage
The cage in the center of the field has a lattice structure.
There are low to high ones, and after the game, you can get points by hanging on one of them.
Since the robot weighs about 50 kg, it requires a strong structure and the correct output of the motor when hanging.

After the game ends, the 'Alliance' who scored more points wins, but the teams that contributed to the victory are given points that will give you an advantage to advance to the finals.
As you can see, the rules of FRC are complicated and have many ways to score.
If you are interested, please read the game manual as there are some parts that have not yet been fully explained, such as the mechanism of the Alliance and how to score other points. Also, please watch the video as it is explained in an easy-to-understand manner in the video below!
We will continue to update the activities of the team, so please stay tuned!
