1st day of the tournament Report

Hello everyone!

Now we are participating in the FRC Hawaii Regional in Hawaii!

This time, I would like to report on the first day of the tournament!

Until today

I left Japan two days ago and arrived at the airport of Hawaii.

When I traveled, I packed the undercarriage and the disassembled upper mechanism in a wooden box.

To complete the assembly and programming of robots in Hawaii, I borrowed the FRC3008 TEAM MAGMA workshop to complete the robot assembly and programming. They were very kind and the work went very well. Thank you to everyone at MAGMA!

Today's schedule

　All the members arrived at the venue at 8:30 yesterday because they had finished the robot LOAD IN.

　At the venue, there is a space called 'PIT' for robot assembly. Various teams decorate the PIT, and it was seen that not only Hawaii but also Japan, Taiwan, Canada, and the mainland of the United States gathered together.

　After arriving at the venue, we added the necessary parts, made fine adjustments, and proceeded with the work to create a robot that would not break and never stop during the game. When the work was completed to some extent, various inspections were conducted, including the size and weight of the robot, as well as whether the fixed parts were used. Even after passing the test, he continued to build robots and adjust programming to prepare for a practice match in the afternoon.

　In the practice match, I was able to move the robot 6 times in the same field as the actual performance while repeating the adjustment.

　With the help of other teams, we have made great progress, such as adjusting the upper mechanism and creating automatic control programming!

　After the competition, I participated in an event called TEAM SPECIAL where I could interact with other teams. While eating dinner, I talked with the members of other teams and played games. I was able to meet new team members and talk to people who are interested in Japan, so I had a great time.
