The 6th day of travel is the day of return.
After the full schedule of the tournament, each of the Yabusame Technology members returned to Japan.
Return to Japan
Today, I headed to the airport from the morning without sightseeing because of the time of the plane.
I arrived at Incheon International Airport for 1 hour by bus from the hotel.
Although I had some trouble, I checked in and checked my luggage and passed the security check and immigration check.
Here, team Yukikaze Technology from Hokkaido, it became the boarding time of the plane bound for Sapporo, and it was farewell.
After taking a commemorative photo, we bought souvenirs at the airport, and the Narita group also boarded the plane without delay.
The plane left without incident, and around 18:00, Asiana Airlines Flight 106, carrying members of the FTC team in the metropolitan area and a robot, arrived safely at Narita Airport. It was a great experience.
After arriving at Narita Airport, they passed immigration and returned their checked baggage.
We confirmed that all the packages had been returned safely and said goodbye to our Japanese team mates who had spent 6 days together.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the colleagues who helped, laughed, and learned from each other while they were in conflict during the trip.
Review of the Tournament
In this tournament, I participated in the game as Alliance5 and gained a lot of learning unique to the international tournament.I was able to gain experience that can only be gained in the actual field, such as making decisions within a limited time, sharing roles, and collaborating with other teams.
In addition to robot competitions, there were also many opportunities to get in touch with local culture and values. There were times when I was puzzled by the different points from Japan, such as how to manage the tournament, how to interact with each other, how to communicate, etc.By trying to understand the differences, we were able to connect to smoother exchanges. At the international tournament, I realized once again that it is important not only to have technical skills, but also to have an attitude that respects the background and culture of the opponent.
Through this experience, it was an opportunity to think again about the team's future policy. This year, we decided to participate in the FTC, where we can accumulate practical learning while valuing the basics, based on the team's situation and growth stage. On the other hand, we are also considering taking on the stage of the FRC again in the future, and we plan to consider the next step through future activities. It's a good idea.
I would like to express my gratitude to all the parents and guardians who have supported me on a daily basis, as well as to all those who have been involved in this trip and the tournament.I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the teams and stakeholders who have contributed to this project.
We will continue to make steady progress as Yabusame Technology by connecting the experience gained in this competition to the next challenge.
Thank you for your continued support.
