On December 14th (Sun), a total of 12 groups, 1st to 3rd graders and parents, were targeted.
We held a workshop called 'Let's make a fish robot'.
In this blog, I will tell you about the situation of the day.
In the workshop, we started by assembling the 'Robo Swimmy', a fish-shaped robot that swims in water.
The children worked with parents and staff to work with interest.

After the assembly was finished, I actually put Robo Swimmy in water and tried to move it.
'I swam properly!'
I could see him enjoying the movement of his robot.

In the second half, we set up a time for remodeling and ingenuity of Robosimmmy.
Each participant tried their own ideas, such as changing the shape of the tail fin, adding materials, and pasting stickers on the body of Robosuimmy to decorate.
Some people were surprised that the same kit was different in how they swim.

Finally, one participant came forward and asked them to present their own points.
There were announcements such as 'I've done well with this' and 'I've improved my balance when I changed here.'
Everyone was expressing their thoughts in words.

In this workshop, through the process of creating, trying, devising, and communicating,
I feel that it was an opportunity for children to think independently.
We will continue to carry out such activities in the future, so please continue to support us.
