yabusame 2025-26 season started

It's been a while, Yabusame Technology. Thank you very much for your great support last year. Thanks to everyone's support, we were able to participate in last year's FRC tournament and leave a result. Thank you very much.
Well, the activities of yabusame technology have started this season as well. The homepage has not been opened for a while, and the blog cannot be updated, but it has been restored. There are some big differences from last year, so I would like to report on the recent activities of our team.

Determination of competition

Well, this year's Yabusame Technology decided to participate in the FRC (First Tech Challenge) instead of participating in the FRC (First Robotics Competition) as usual. FTC, like FRC, is an international robotics competition sponsored by FIRST, a public interest incorporated foundation in the United States. Yabusame Technology will participate in a district tournament in Korea. South Korea's district tournament will be held from January 30th to January 31st, 2026.

The two major differences from the previous FRC are:

・Robot size is different
　While the size of the FRC robot is about 1 m on each side, the FTC is about 45 cm on each side and about 1/4 the size of each side.　
　It will be. However, the complexity of the robotic mechanism has not changed, and careful design and programming is required.

・different rules
　As with the FRC, the rules of the FTC are changed every year, but the FTC is very different in that there are no collisions with other robots.
　I will. Robots are small and light weight. Also, the participation fee is about 40,000 yen.
　You can participate in the competition with a small amount of money.

The current Yabusame Technology is working little by little while preparing for the FTC.
We have not yet made any major progress, but we are discussing the rules, considering robot proposals, and sharing roles.
