Hello, my name is Soshi Yamaoka, and I serve as the representative of Yabusame Technology.
I have been involved with this team since its founding, participating in robot development for nearly two years—from our activities as Hibana Technology to last year’s Yabusame Technology season.
At the beginning, I had very little technical knowledge or experience, and I felt more anxiety and nervousness than confidence. However, as I worked together with my teammates to build a single robot, I gradually became deeply absorbed in the joy of creating something as a team.
There were many moments when things did not go as planned, and times when I struggled, but the sense of achievement and excitement I felt when our repeated trial and error finally took shape is an irreplaceable experience for me. Even in difficult situations, by discussing ideas and devising solutions together, I truly came to appreciate the joy of creating something as a team.
Yabusame Technology aims to be a community where students who wish to challenge themselves in manufacturing can participate freely, regardless of their school affiliation. Students who share a passion for robotics come together across grade levels and schools, learning side by side while making the most of each individual’s strengths. In this environment, we naturally learn not only technical skills, but also the importance of role-sharing, cooperation, and problem-solving. Through these activities, I myself continue to learn a great deal.
The accumulation of small successes and failures shared with my teammates has made our activities more engaging and fulfilling.
Moving forward, Yabusame Technology will continue to share the joy of making things and the value of teamwork throughout Japan. We would be grateful for your warm support and encouragement as we continue our journey.
Thank you very much for your time and support.
Sincerely,
Soshi Yamaoka
Representative, Yabusame Technology
